Unfortunately, GREENSTART is a retired promotion. It still technically "exists" in our system (so it will attach to a policy without an error), but the underlying rate rider behind it was discontinued, so it produces a $0 discount — no actual reduction in premium. Your neighbor may be remembering an old promo that no longer has any effect.
I don't want to apply something that won't actually save you money and could confuse your billing statement, so I'd recommend against attaching it.
If you'd like, I can check whether you currently qualify for any active discounts or bundling savings on your auto and home policies instead — would you like me to take a look?
